เพิ่มเติมกฎหมายแรงงานแคลิฟอร์เนีย เรื่องลาป่วยกรณีที่เกี่ยวข้องกับโควิค-19 ประกาศวันที่ 25 มีนาคม 2564 โดยมีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม 2564

เจ้าของกิจการที่มีพนักงานมากกว่า 25 คนมีหน้าที่ปฎิบัติตามและแจ้งเรื่องนี้ให้พนักงานทุกคนทราบ

Effective March 29, 2021, Employers with more than 25 employees must provide up to 80 hours of paid Covid-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave for any Covid-19 related sick leave from January 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021 upon oral or written request to the employer.

The leave may be taken if the employee is unable to teleworke and necessary to

(1) Care for themselves;

(2) Care for a Family Member who is subject to Covid-19 quarantine or isolation, or caring for a child whose school or place of care is closed due to Covid-19 and

(3) To attend a vaccine appointment or cannot work or telework due to vaccine-related symptoms.

The attached notice is to be posted or sent to employees electronically.
